A lovely stay

We had such a lovely stay at this masseria! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the pool was easily one of the highlights. Beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place for our group to spend time together and relax.

The location was also great for exploring this part of Puglia – we were able to easily enjoy both Otranto and Lecce by car while still coming back to a quiet, relaxing home base. The grounds, pool, and setting are beautiful, and it was a wonderful property for a group trip in Puglia.

A beautiful place

The rooms are spacious, and both the gardens and outdoor areas are impeccably maintained and truly stunning. The service is exceptionally attentive, and the heated swimming pool is wonderful. Our family stay was absolutely fantastic, and we will cherish the memories for years to come. Special thanks to Chiara and Sandra for their kindness and responsiveness to all our requests.

This has got to be one of the most exceptional properties in Europe […]. 15 acres of olive groves and fruit trees surround a large beautiful garden full of tropical plants. The house is approached by its own driveway and is surrounded by stunning features and additional outbuildings with further bedrooms. Everything is appointed to the highest standard. The decor is traditional and of the highest quality. The whole property was private and exclusive to us. The service staff came daily to clean and make the rooms. We had wonderfully fresh organic produce picked from the grounds of the property and delivered to the kitchen to cook with. Total luxury. Thank you so much for having us. Will we ever stay anywhere this nice again? I hope we can come back!!

A Paradise in Puglia

We have visited Maison Fenestraz in Argentina for over 20 years — the incomparable El Colibrí, which we’ve always called Elysium, our personal paradise. We never imagined the Fenestraz family could create anything better. We were wrong. Masseria Torre Ruggeri is the natural progression of perfection — another paradise they’ve brought to life, this time in the heart of Puglia. Tucked in the countryside yet within easy reach of Puglia’s ancient villages and cities, the house feels like a home. Every detail is flawless, and every wish is instantly fulfilled by the wonderful staff. Each morning began with a sumptuous breakfast prepared in the garden, and one evening we enjoyed a private chef’s dinner that was unforgettable. The incredible team curated our entire stay — organizing day trips, booking restaurants, and even reserving beach chairs. After visiting Italy more than 30 times, we can say that Masseria Torre Ruggeri represents the very best of Italy: serene, sublime, and deeply personal.

An exceptional villa

Firstly, the Masseria is better in real life. The pictures don’t do it justice! We stayed there for 2 weeks in July and it was the best service, communication and offering we’ve ever had from any rental holiday property we have ever stayed at. Chiara, the masseria manager, was extermely helpful before and during the trip. The services offered at the villa are hotel quality. We booked the chef and local cook several times and would highly recommend it. Chiara had great local restaraunt recommendations too. The property itself is stunning and massive. We went for evening walks in the olive orchards and there are several outdoor spots for aperitivo. I’d 100% recommend this villa for your next holiday!

Incredible stay

We had an incredible stay and would recommend this property without hesitation. The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful; our family especially loved the swimming pool, the wonderful outdoor dining and relaxation areas, and the peaceful setting.

Above all, the hosts were exceptional: warm, helpful, and extremely responsive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

A little slice of paradise for a stay in southern Puglia

We were two families traveling with children. The house is beautiful, with a wonderfully maintained garden and a lovely heated swimming pool, even in April. It is very kid-friendly, with games available such as water guns, balls, and a ping-pong table. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for cooking and enjoying meals under the pergola. The sunsets are magnificent. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, and a safe is available for guests. The breakfasts are excellent, and essential condiments are thoughtfully provided. We highly recommend it without hesitation!

My stay was simply perfect. The property is immersed in nature, cared for in every detail, with spacious, peaceful areas tastefully decorated.
A special mention goes to the service: flawless in every way.
All the staff were helpful, discreet, and attentive, making me feel welcome from the very first moment.
A highlight of the experience was the dinner hosted by Mrs. Annarosa: an absolute delight.
Simple yet flavorful dishes, prepared with local ingredients and served with genuine warmth.

We loved the house !

Renovated with all modern comforts but kept the rustic charm. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The back garden with pool was a dream. Highly recommended to add the breakfast option. Ada the housekeeper prepared an extraordinary breakfast table for us daily! Would book again next time we are in Puglia.
